For those of you stuck with deskjobs throughout week, I always recommend to do some physical activity every few hours to keep your body moving. Going from the fitness industry to the legal industry was a form of "devolution," but I promised myself to never get out of shape. Thus, I recommend simple pushup combinations in the office when convenient so I can keep up with my law clerks (who are high school athletes) even though I turn 40 in June. Even though I had 3 hearings today, and also had the chance to do a podcast with Dr. Baker this morning (to be released soon), I did a short video on pushup progressions in the office involving 4 types of pushup combinations in 3 consecutive sets of 5 reps for each type of pushup (60 pushups total, but feels like 100 pushups). My form and range of motion fell apart towards the end, but I barely made it to complete the 3rd combination set. I recommend to try this out throughout the week to improve your strength and muscular endurance.
