Why I'm Running
I am running for the United States House of Representatives to protect our freedom and to improve the lives of the American people. My diverse background and personal dedication to the well being of our citizens puts me in a unique position as a candidate focused on helping to make America healthy again. I have a broad knowledge base and a great understanding of the complex, health-related challenges with which we must deal both individually and as a nation.
There are horrific threats to our health as individuals, as families and as a nation. It is ever more vital that the health related well being of our constituents and the American people in general becomes our number one priority. Every elected official, especially those in Congress, need to be doing his or her part in dealing with and eliminating this health related threat.
My professional experience with the Health & Fitness Industry means more than just having practiced law for two decades. I am offering a deep understanding and personal commitment to ensure the healthcare system we created, sets the standards for and meets the needs of the American people and is available to them.
As a licensed Dietetic Technician I am registered and I have completed clinical rotations in hospitals and with care givers. In short, in this upcoming election, in my district I am offering the alternative for the voters and their families. At this pivotal moment our country needs more than just a bunch of lawyers and politicians setting policy and overseeing America’s health related industry.
My candidacy offers voters an opportunity to put my knowledge and understanding to use on their behalf, especially when making decisions concerning America’s HEALTHCARE. For me, it is a personal commitment. First and foremost I CARE. In fact, realizing the good I could accomplish, I focused my PhD in Public Policy and Administration, equipping me to tackle in-depth the complex challenges we must confront today. Yes, vital experience has given me a wealth of knowledge, but I must admit that it is my passion for the health and safety of our people that puts me above the other candidates. I am mainly known as a licensed attorney and small business owner but my passion and professional desire has remained focused on the Health and Fitness Industry. Perhaps because it is something I have personally experienced.
As someone who has been damaged by questionable pharmaceuticals and unnecessary procedures from conventional medicine and after battling rare conditions, I am devoted to ensuring that our country is properly educated on natural metabolic health. I have healed myself with oxygen-based therapies, functional medicine, and a ketogenic diet, and I am adamant about improving everyone’s quality of life.
My own transformation, observation, dedicated research, and experience have shaped my views on our country's current healthcare challenges. I have learned, for example, that some of our nutritional guidelines have been worsening, not improving, the health of the American people. As my eyes have more fully opened over the years I finally reached the breaking point which was never my plan, nor desire. I realized that even though science now provides us with the knowledge and understanding needed to improve the human condition, our nation’s health has been declining rapidly over the past 30-40 years.
Our citizens are no longer patients at hospitals, rather they have become routine customers who are prescribed excessive pharmaceuticals which come with a litany of harmful side effects. A patient cured is a customer lost for the pharmaceutical industry, and we must place more value and respect on the personal health of the people who elected us to watch out for them.
Although I believe changes in our health system should be a primary focus, I also believe policies should be changed across the board. We need a better future for our younger generation; testing scores are plummeting, our farmers that put REAL food on our tables need to be protected, and we must restore traditional values. I am a proud American, and I applaud our courageous law enforcement officers and the military personnel for protecting our country and its citizens. And yes, I truly believe that together we can all Make America Great and Healthy Again. I am asking for the serious consideration of those who share my concern and alarm, as I will work endlessly to ensure that you, your families and our fellow Americans have a better life, and a prosperous and healthy future.
