I'm Chris Brandlin. I'm an attorney licensed in California and Texas and admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court. I hold a PhD in public policy and administration, an MBA in finance and a credential in dietetics, and I've spent twenty years in health and fitness.
I'm running because the three things every family in Spring Valley, Mountain's Edge and Enterprise lives with every day are decided in Carson City: public safety, education and public health. Those decisions deserve someone who has done the work. Not someone who takes the vote she's handed.
The incumbent, Tracy Brown-May, voted yes on 655 of 661 floor votes in 2025. Six no votes in an entire session.
She raised $600,170 for this seat, and 82.9% of it came from PACs, corporations and LLCs. She chairs the Assembly Health and Human Services Committee and sits on Ways and Means, while her employer, Opportunity Village, depends on the Medicaid dollars those committees shape. See the full pattern →

I built a career in health and fitness. I won Mr. Los Angeles Natural in 2010 and was published in Muscle & Fitness the same year.
Then rare health conditions hit, and the system treated me like a billing code. I rebuilt my health through metabolic nutrition, an animal-based diet and oxygen-based therapies. Then I went back to school and earned the credentials to turn what I learned into policy.
I don't just understand these issues in theory. I have lived them.

Safe neighborhoods come first. Las Vegas Metro is short officers. I'll fight for the staffing, retention and equipment they need, and for policies that cut crime without cutting corners on the Constitution.
More than half of Nevada's third graders don't read at grade level. That is a crisis, not a talking point. I'll put reading, math, science and critical thinking back at the center of every classroom, with parents as partners.
Our system treats patients like repeat customers. I rebuilt my own health with metabolic medicine and real food, then earned the credentials to turn it into policy. Prevention should be paid for the way prescriptions are.
