Why I'm Running
I'm not a career politician. I'm an attorney who watched the same families I represent get failed by the same Carson City decisions, year after year — and decided that the only way to fix the problem was to show up at the building where the problem is made.
For the families of Assembly District 42 — that's Spring Valley, Mountain's Edge, Enterprise, and the southwest valley — the stakes are real and they are local. Your grocery bill has gone up because of fuel-tax decisions made in Carson City. Your child's school has lost focus on the basics because of curriculum decisions made in Carson City. Your healthcare options have narrowed because of reimbursement decisions made in Carson City. And the incumbent who represents you in that building has voted with the majority caucus on 655 of 661 floor votes in the 2025 session — a 99.1% party-line record.
AD-42 deserves a representative who reads every bill, walks every neighborhood, and answers to the families who actually live here — not to a caucus whip.

From the Field to the Floor
I am a competitive athlete who built a career in the Health and Fitness Industry. I won the Mr. Los Angeles Natural title in 2010 in All-Natural Bodybuilding, the same year I was published in Muscle and Fitness magazine. I competed in sprint triathlons throughout law school. I was a personal trainer at 24-Hour Fitness, the fraternity president of Tau Kappa Epsilon, and the youngest published bodybuilder in the Long Beach gym scene.
Then rare health conditions hit. The system that should have helped me restore my health treated me as a billing code. I was prescribed medications I didn't need. I was passed between specialists who didn't talk to each other. I was a customer in a transaction — not a patient in a partnership.
I restored my own health through metabolic nutrition, an animal-based ketogenic protocol, and functional-medicine principles. The transformation became my professional mission. I went back to school for an Associates of Applied Sciences in Dietetics and earned my Registered Dietetic Technician credential. I earned an MBA in Finance to understand the economics of the healthcare system I was now representing. I earned a PhD in Public Policy and Administration with a Public Health emphasis from Walden University — and my doctoral dissertation, on the downfalls of pandemic-era policy, was nationally published.
That is the journey that became The Carnivore Lawyer®. It is also the journey that brings me to the Nevada State Assembly.

What I Stand For
- Public safety, properly funded. LVMPD and Henderson PD are short officers. The fix is staffing, retention, and equipment — not press releases.
- Education back to basics. Reading by the end of third grade. Math fluency by the end of fifth. Real PE in the school day. Parents as partners — not as obstacles.
- Healthcare that treats patients, not customers. Prevention reimbursed on parity with prescription. Plain-English informed consent. Metabolic medicine protected as a Nevada specialty.
- Parental rights, baseline. Active consent on any survey of a minor's sexual or substance-use behavior. Full curriculum transparency in every classroom.
- Affordability as a measurable index. A published annual measure of how much new state action has added to a Nevada family's grocery and gas bill. By name. By bill.
- Treatment-based homelessness response. Mental-health beds. Addiction recovery. A structured path back. Compassion is treatment — not a tolerated encampment.
- Independent voice for AD-42. Vote with anyone — regardless of party — when the bill helps this district. Vote against anyone — including my own party — when it doesn't.

- Fuel-tax expansions that raise the cost of every grocery shipment, every commute, and every contractor invoice in Clark County. See AB530.
- Federal behavioral surveys of Nevada middle-school students without active parental consent. See AB331.
- Carson City consultants who write policy about industries they've never worked in.
- "Career politician" decision-making — chasing the next chairmanship instead of the next bill that actually helps AD-42 families.
How I Show Up
I knock the doors myself.
Every Saturday and Sunday between now and Election Day. Spring Valley one week, Mountain's Edge the next, Enterprise the next, southwest valley after that. If you've gotten a literature drop with my name on it, there's a strong chance the hand that put it on your door was mine.
I train daily.
The same protocol I have followed since I restored my health. Movement is preventive medicine. Discipline shows up in every decision I make in court, in the gym, and at your door.
I read the bills.
Every one. Cover to cover. If I'm going to vote on a 200-page appropriation that costs your family money, the absolute minimum I owe you is having read it.
I answer email.
