The story behind the name. Chris Brandlin — a Las Vegas attorney better known online as the Carnivore Lawyer — walks through the health collapse that started it, the diet change that followed, and how a law practice ended up attached to all of it.

The name reads as a gimmick until you hear the order of events. It began as a personal problem he could not solve through the usual channels, and the answer he landed on was unusual enough that it became the thing people knew him for. The practice came with it rather than the other way around.

It also explains why public health sits at the center of an Assembly campaign instead of at its edge. He arrived at the issue through his own body first and the policy second, which is why he tends to argue it in specifics rather than slogans — and why the children's health agenda reads more like a clinical checklist than a stump speech.
