An off-script toast

A birthday toast to friends in Las Vegas, delivered off script, as usual.

Campaign footage tends to flatten a person into their positions. This is the version that does not — a few minutes of someone talking to people who knew him long before there was a district number attached to his name.

It is included here for the same reason the training clips and the dog videos are. A voter deciding whether to trust someone with a legislative seat is entitled to see how that person behaves in a room where nothing is at stake.
