A pushup contest against actual wrestlers

Chris Brandlin takes on Las Vegas high-school wrestlers in a pushup contest. It goes roughly as anyone would predict.

Wrestlers are a poor choice of opponent for this. The sport selects for exactly the kind of muscular endurance a pushup contest measures, and high-school athletes in season are usually at a peak most adults have not visited in decades.

The reason to hold events like this anyway is the one running through the youth-fitness work: the fastest way to get a teenager interested in training is to compete with them rather than lecture them about it.
